What's a "piece of media" that you DONT "understand"

"The Killing of a Sacred Deer" movie. I am fairly certain my parent put it on 90% because they really like Nicole Kidman. I guess I kinda get the basic concept, but I still don't "get" what it was trying to say. Maybe it was just too artsy for me to grasp, I dunno.

Hot take: Uncle Grandpa is GOAT.

I just don't really get or like super weird animated shows in general, I find them a major put off.

</div></div></div>That's how I feel about "A Serious Man", like seriously what was supposed to be the point of that movie. That life sometimes sucks in general and there's nothing you can do about it? Also We Need to Talk About Kevin, WTF was that nonsense?

Also most Best picture winners and nominees in general, many are too pretentious for my tastes.

I can't get into most JRPGs in general for that reason and because of most of them being ungodly long. 

Agreed sooooo much. Like I can see why adults are drawn to say Arthur, but those shows? I'm just not seeing it. 

For an anime example One Piece, genuinely surprised it's lasted so long. Just never personally grabbed me.
