Im not gonna make this long like my last post, don't worry. But turns out somebody just found GTA 2's music in high, unedited quality! Hurray!
For anybody curious, lemme make this quick because i said this before. No long, just short. GTA 2 was the second game (up until San Andreas) that had entirely original music mixed with licensed music, with the first being GTA London. This also marked the debut of fictonal band Conor & Jay, whom, unlike their GTA 3 counterpart where they were placed on Head Radio in 3 & LCS, 2 placed them on Rockstar Radio.
Lil note that Colin was actually one of the first, and only composers who uploaded GTA 2's soundtrack in a higher quality, but this channel? It literally got them all out of nowhere. So however the hell they got it, i don't know. So since GTA 2's soundtrack is up, let's hope that GTA 1's soundtrack can be found in a high, unedited quality one day!
Edit: Okay maybe i should've given more details on this. First off, the reason i've considered this 'Found Media' is due to the fact that nearly all of GTA 2's music were limited to a low quality. It was the 90's what do you expect? Second off, the 'Colin' guy i mentioned was Colin Anderson. Should've putted his last name in here.. Third and last was that they also contained some extra stuff. Like GTA 2 being called GBH (Which meant 'Grevious Bodily Harm'), Garage Acid from Lithium FM being misnamed 'F.A.G Filter' and a couple of extras like 'Prequel' and 'Chart Show'. So that should atleast clear some things off.
Hey it's no problem man! I've been hoping that GTA 2's music would get released, and then BAM! This channel just gives us it! Now let's just hope that one day 1997's GTA and GTA London will get their original music released!
Oh and this one's to Rockstar, you are an absolute bummer for not giving them their official releases unlike GTA 3, Vice City and LCS. Shame on you! >:/
