Alright I think this is going to be a tough one to even confirm its existence as I've tried but simply can't find what I recall seeing years ago. I'll try and be brief. Bishop Allen is an indie rock band that I was really into my freshman year of college in 2006. At this time, the band had one album, Charm School, and were in the process of releasing 12 EPs: one EP for every month of that year. They've since released 3 more full length albums in the time since then. However, I recall trying to get their entire discography in 2006, and distinctly remember coming across a forum post where a user was talking about their leaked second album that must have leaked at some point after the first album and before the 12 EPs (sometime between 2003 and 2006), that I really wanna say they said was called Clementines (which was also the name of one of the songs released throughout those 12 EPs), which none of their albums did end up being labeled. As I recall, the post explained that the band wasn't happy at all that the album leaked and decided to take most of it in different directions and that the album was essentially scrapped, though it would seem that at least some songs must have lived on in the EPs. The poster went on to explain that due to the band's stance on the album that they wouldn't share the leak, but did direct us to one of the songs on the unreleased album we could download ourselves, You Ain't No Picasso. This song does indeed exist and can be found on YouTube, furthermore, this song never appeared on any of their released albums including any of the 12 EPs from 2006.
I've looked and looked but can't find any info on this, not even the post in question that I remember so well. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Anyone interested in helping me track down more info? I'd really love to find this lost album all these years later.
