hi everyone !
I have been unsuccessfully looking for something I saw in my childhood that weirded me out enough to stick with me until today.
It was a maybe minute-long animation that wasn't part of any program I knew; it had a cartoonish art style and fast, expressive animation, kind of like looney tunes, that I found really grotesque and scary as a kid for some reason. It was about a brown dog/wolf/coyote running across the screen through some kind of barn or farm environment, with the topic of teaching the viewer about rules. I honestly don't remember what was said, but it had something to do with giving a lesson to children.
The strange thing about it was that I used to check the TV guide all the time and always knew what was on, but this segment wasn't listed anywhere, and it was the only time I ever saw it despite watching the channel daily. This was in fairly recent times so I doubt it's completely unknown, it's just a very odd occurrence that I haven't been able to make sense of.
Here's all information I have to narrow it down:
- it must have been on the German kid's channel KiKa. They produced their own stuff as well as dubbing all kinds of popular shows, so it could have originated from pretty much any country. There were no ads or any kind of segments between shows, only the scheduled program.
- anywhere from 2010-2015, probably around 5-6pm
- I have looked through lists of all the shows ever airing on the channel with no luck
If anyone remembers a show/character like this please let me know! Or even if you just have an idea why there would be a random unannounced short on TV that never appears again.
