www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMObuN88ykI&tv This youtube video showcases multiple fireworks display softwares, stemming from the curiosity on one program aptly named "Fireworks Display Simulator". Or so an episode of Bad Influence (A 90s review show for software, mostly games, fireworks episode is season 2 episode 9 archive.org/details/bad_influence_se2ep9) would call it. They use a fireworks display simulator from some defunct company known as "First Degree Systems".The only company that can be found today under this name today is some weird, generic company that produces software to line up piping and glass. www.first-degree-systems.com/ a far stretch from a company that produces firework simulator software with fmv clips of fireworks. This feature is what makes the program unique - it used full motion video (albeit a quite blurry set) to show what a fireworks display would look like after being set up by a professional.
One company that could possibly still be around is this one - fantasticfireworksinc.com/ mentioned as a company that would be launching this fireworks show, mentioned at 3:29 in the episode archive. It was to be launched "tomorrow" the day of airing, in London. If this is the correct one, of course. The episode aired in 1993 to give a range of time.
