I heard that in 1977 when Fred Rogers started production back up on MRN, after a 2 year hiatus (he had done a program on PBS for adults from 1976-77) there was a Christmas special. This website talks about it and it even has screencaps, so a copy has to exist somewhere. I would LOVE to watch this during the holidays! Also, how has this not been something that has been shown regularly every single Christmas since then?

I also don’t get how people apparently obtained the masters and can post screencaps, but sorry they just “can’t” make special copies if it’s something somebody’s been desperately searching for. I get it in a way but I’d gladly make a copy under the strict condition that it doesn’t get illegally distributed.
