Need help!! Piece of Lost Media for sale with HUGE price!!

First of all, I would like to apologize if this is the wrong place for this sort of thread. I would like to provide some context for this piece of lost media:

Joka (女禍) is a Gegege no Kitaro fan-film produced roughly around 1989. I wrote an article about it on the Lost Media Wiki, which you can read here: x

But to summarize: Despite being a fan-film, some of the animators involved with Joka worked on the 1985 Gegege no Kitaro anime series, and it's considered extremely high quality despite its limited animation.

A few days ago, this listing showed up for sale on Yahoo Japan Auctions: x

It's a copy of the movie. I can confirm that the listing is legit, as it shows never-before-seen scenes from the film.

However, there's one problem: The seller is asking nearly $4,750 USD as the starting bid.

This is a piece of lost media I've been trying to hunt down for years. Does the Lost Media Wiki allow crowdfunding in these types of situations? This is the first time a copy of this film has ever been listed for sale, and I'm unsure what to do.
