Very rarely do I post directly into the lost media section, but this is genuine lost media and I have a stake in it.
In 2021, I participated in the Brooklyn Library Sketchbook collection. My sketchbook wasn't anything too special, but I was stoked it would be in a library I could some day visit.
Well....then the library closed down. I was thinking about how they included me in a mass email about the sketchbooks being transferred somewhere else.
It's been kinda bugging me not knowing where, so I did a quick Google search and found out a lot of the sketchbooks burned in a fire while being transported: brooklynartlibrary.org/fire
This is a pretty classic lost media scenario. Any chance we can hunt down these sketchbooks? Unfortunately, I was cheap and didn't pay for mine to be scanned. I only took some photos on my own as well, so I have very limited proof of my own sketchbook that was added into this collection.

There's a map on the home page so there's a good chance my sketchbook didn't perish in a fire. It was not a mini sketchbook.
