Saddest cases of Missing Episode/Lost film or tv media?

What is, in your guys’ opinion, the saddest cases of lost film or tv media there is?
I’ll start: The delete Sam Kinison scene from Three Amigos. He had a Deleted Role as a cannibalistic Mountain Man who would attempt to kill the trio multiple times only to be shot to death and show a picture of his family in a long, drawn-out death sequence, which was filmed and test screened, but was removed from later prints for time.
Unfortunately, since this was 1986, preservation of unused footage wasn’t very common, and this was no exception. It has since been lost, without even so much as a production still surviving, let alone any cuts with this scene intact. An exhibition print was later discovered in 2011, but that was a later cut that didn’t include this scene, and is also a clearly inferior print since there’s a blatant jump cut in the deleted Santa Poco opening (yes, there’s footage missing in that jump cut by the way, read the screenplay).
Sam Kinison later died in a car crash in 1992, and it’s unknown if his last ever role even survived. Given how old the film is, and the earlier info on preservation and whatnot, it’s safe to assume the cut footage in that Exhibitors Screener is the only cut footage that survived, any earlier screener copies or workprints probably just don’t exist anymore.
