New to the forum so apologies in advance if this is written weird or smth
I used to watch this youtube channel called Neon Biscuit [Comen] (went by just Neon Biscuit in 2016 and 2017) and their second channel ComenZ back in the 2016-2019 time frame. They made animations in mspaint and flipaclip of their stickman ocs and were fairly popular, ~200k subs give or take, before deleting both channel in late 2019 or early 2020. Recently I’ve been archiving what animations and art of theirs I can find but despite how much I remember them being talked about there’s very little reuploaded anywhere online.
I’m kinda just posting this to see if anyone else remembers their channels or possibly has some of their stuff downloaded since I’ve checked everything I can think of, wayback machine YouTube searches so many different search engines etc
It appears the earliest Wayback captures are redirects to the mobile version of YouTube. Since it is JavaScript-based instead of HTML-based, meaning the browser downloads a program that then loads the content instead of loading the content directly, it becomes much more difficult to archive.
The desktop edition of the website is JavaScript-based too (it's called "polymer"), but it appears the developers at the Wayback Machine put more work into making it able to be archived and displayed.
Nowadays, the Wayback Machine is able to sometimes archive YouTube polymer pages, but it wasn't in 2019.
Before YouTube switched to polymer in August 2017, it was HTML-based so archival was easy (except comments, which were AJAX-loaded).
Comments were HTML-based until 2013. This is why watch pages prior to 2013 contain visible comments. Back then it was lightweight and easy to archive, not the bloated mess of today.

I was able to get the channel to load on the wayback machine!
instead of serching it as www.youtube.com/channel/UC9ktjI6aLUhHCWDG7nkaNQQ you search it as m.youtube.com/channel/UC9ktjI6aLUhHCWDG7nkaNQQ 4 captures come up that all open! unfortunately the only tab ive had any luck opening is the home tab, so i still dont have a full catalogue of videos, but the home tab DID provide a few links to videos i havent been able to find anywhere else!
I found a screenshot that shows one of their videos on the site clipzui.com but I haven’t checked the site bc I’m not sure if it’s safe, it seems to just be a YouTube knockoff but I’m not sure if it has like malware or smth built into it or any of those annoying malware redirect ads
