been replaying some Sonic games in preparation for Sonic X Shadow Generations. So far i've managed to 100% both Sonic Adventure games and both episodes of Sonic 4.

Final Fantasy IV is hard y'all. It doesn't help that I chose the 3D version on the DS which is notable for somewhat higher difficulty. With where I am at in the story, I have no idea how people beat a certain boss on level 35, I was at level 45 for my main chars and I STILL barely won the fight. I only lucked out because Pray gave me JUSTTTTTT enough MP juice to keep casting Cura and Haste, and relying on weak but workable physical attacks from 2-3 characters (I gave up pretty quickly on trying to use Elemental Attacks, supposedly there was a way or pattern to do it, but I got sick of wasting moves to "figure it out.")

RPGs are infinitely more fun when you barely scrape by in the story lol
Power fantasy is for post game

Speaking of PS3, I used to play Arcana Hearts 3 on there. I haven't played it in years but back when I was 12~14 can't really remember it used to be one of my favorite fighting games. You select a Arcana which gives you Passives and unique Specials that are tied to that Arcana. Basic stuff like a strong attack or fast projectile but some get wild like creating a clone of your opponent, stopping time, or using a dice to determine how much damage the attack has.
The characters are crazy too. A genius girl who rides around in a sentient gel blob that can become a diamond or grow muscular arms to toss you around, a roller skater that has little stars or circles by her moves that determine when you can pull them off. Or... The input is a pentagram. Yes. You need to make a pentagram with your analog stick to use the fucking move.
My main was Kamui with the Punishment Arcana cause "Big damage go brrr"... I sucked at the game. I haven't played it in years and it's only on Steam and Xbox... Xbox. The console where people aren't looking for anime styled fighters.

kinda disappointed with the new class of 09 game. the first two were edgy as hell but they were at least funny. the humor in the new one feels like its being gross just to be gross. :/

I like the concept of that series but that's about it
