This is a film that's been in my head for a long time. No matter how much I've searched for web for this, there's never any results. So, alas, I've came to the lost media wiki once again. Now, my apologies if some of this isn't well described or too vague by this website's standards as I've only ever used it once before, but alas, here we go.
So I first saw this movie when I was around 10/11 years old in 2019. Now, you have to understand that, even though this only happened around 5 years ago, I saw an airing of this movie quite late evening/early night., and I was doing the thing kids always do to try and stay awake past their bedtime. You've all done it before, just admit it. It's the classic "Barley move/speak while watching TV with your parents so that they forget about you" routine. So, alas, I'm left this memory of a very, very strange 3D animated movie, that my parents had put on from some random channel.
Now, from what I can remember, this was a movie about figurines coming to life. They would be standing there, and then, some sparks and magic effects would go around them, and boom, they'd come to life. No other toys, though. Just two or three figurines. I'm pretty sure they couldn't just come to life by themselves, however, as I can remember a sort of "Evil genius" type character as well. Throughout the film, the figurines wouldn't always be "alive" they would sort of go between that state, with magic going into them with that pre-stated effect giving them life once more.
In terms of other things I can remember from the movie, there was long scene near the end at a funfair/theme park, though it looked somewhat abandoned. There were human characters there as well, who appeared throughout the film. One of them was a small child who the figures belonged too. The film may have been about the girl trying to get the figures back from the "Evil genius" type character.
One of the biggest aspects I can remember from the film was that it was completely silent in terms of voice acting. No character ever said anything, and it was all told through the things going on around the characters, or gestures, or anything like that. I can remember this making it quite hard to tell what was going on for ten year old me, so that's one of the biggest aspects I can rember. Apart from....the credits. The very, very weird credits.
Only about TWO people were listed in the credits. Two. I am sure about this. The credits were bright and colourful, with stock art of the characters on the side ever time it changed to show the next person (i.e one time) I even remember asking my dad about this, breaking my fabled "Barley move/speak" rule, who just shrugged it off.
Now, in terms of where I saw this movie, I was on holiday in spain at the time, in the middle of summer, which should give you a pretty good timeframe. As previously stated it was 2019. As for what channel this was I frankly have no idea. I'd like to say it was channel 4, a British television channel, as we were watching a lot of it there due to it being the only english-speaking channel that it picked up. But, like I said, the movie had no spoken lines, and I'm pretty sure it was a kid's movie. Channel 4 doesn't have a kid's block, and definitely not in late evening. They only ever really show kid's movies around Christmas like every other British channel. So, while I wouldn't rule it out, it's likley it wasn't channel 4, and instead some other spain-exclusive channel.
Also, I know a lot of you are going to say that it may well have just been a dream or something like that, I'm very sure it's not. I remember aspects like the credits so clearly and, unless I was having a dream of being our spain resort house, sitting on the exact same sofa that's there usually in the exact same room, watching a 3D animated movie. I'm really sure this wasn't a dream, though I guess anything is possible...
Please, Please help me find this movie as I've been searching for it for a long time now and cannot find a single thing about it.
