Prophilax were an italian comedy rock band from Rome that was active from 1990 to 2023, They released 3 demo tapes (Anal Live being one of them), 5 studio albums, 1 live album (Analive from 2005, which despite the similiar name isnt the same as Anal Live) and 1 compilation album under the Prophilax name, yet they also released a few albums under different names which are usually grouped together into Prophilax (3 albums with San Culamo from 1994-2001, 1 album with Pizza e Fichi in 1992).
Anal Live is supposedly a collection of live recordings from 1992 - 1994, which were all recorded at fairly poor quality. Just like the '91 and '92 demo tapes, its missing from the bands official website which features all their other albums (including San Culamo and Pizza e Fichi) available for free download. While both the other demo tapes have been uploaded on youtube there seems to be no upload of Anal Live anywhere on the internet, though its been documented on sites like discogs, prophilaxfan.forumcommunity.net/ and more. Someone is even selling a copy of the cassette on discogs for €220.00 so theres that for the interested.
