So back when Land of Lost Monsters (the American edit of Monsters we Met) was considered rare/"lost", I made the article when I was about 14 years old on the original lost media wiki before the merge, so I do think I have the right to ask for this request. So when I made the article I did not know that Land of Lost Monsters had a DVD release and considering there were already YouTube videos showing clips that were not taken from the Animal Planet website it should have been a sign that "hey maybe this thing isn't lost, perhaps the DVD is just rare".
The only thing that I would consider lost would be a scene depicting a woolly rhinoceros (taken from Walking with Beasts) but that's about it in regard to memory. I do know that Discovery was pretty bad about cutting out stuff from their DVDs in contrast to their broadcasted counterparts on their networks. For instance, the DVD release of L.A. 10,000 B.C. had 5 minutes cut from its original DVD release before being restored (albeit missing the "back-from commercial stingers") on a re-release with Ice World; What Killed the Mega Beasts had the entire special out on DVD in its first release but in future releases it had 10 minutes cut from it. The same is true for broadcasted shows because episodes of The Most Extreme, an Animal Planet show, had its episodes trimmed for commercial breaks but are completely unaltered on whatever home video releases they had.
Otherwise I would argue that aside from those missing scenes (which probably would not qualify for an actual article and also the fact that I could be misremembering unless proven otherwise) it was largely never lost in the first place. Considering that articles of actual lost media such as the American Walking with... edits don't have articles, I think this one should be deleted since I was the creator of that article and I do feel guilty for spreading something that could be considered 'misinformation'.
EDIT: Thank you to Astrocade for responding to my request. I really appreciate it and I hope this helps put a dent in the spread of misinfo regarding this special on the web.
