The Stephen Hillenberg incident was mentioned on the comments of DeviantART image of Luann directing a message to the fandom (I forgot what it was), where someone said that the message would also fit that situation because how people acted over it was rude.

Skullgirls' fandom is one of the craziest in my opinion, from what I've seen as of late. Look on the Steam forums and you'll find users arguing about that censorship patch from 2023 and other whatnot. In fact, it's been going on for more than a year.

As someone who has been a big fan of Vocaloid and other singing synthesizers for the past 13 years. I felt the fandom has gotten worse.

I just discovered the Brazilian Miku trend and apparently some people are getting upset at artists for drawing Miku in a certain way.

Too many older TMNT fans are a toxic and hateful bunch, just look at the threads for newer shows like Rise of the TMNT on the Technodrome forums(one of the oldest TMNT forums around having been created back in 1999)with angry trolls whining about how TMNT has "gone woke" blah blah blah.
