Recently, while looking for old IPA files of games that I could load onto my IPad, I remembered this game I had downloaded back in 2014 or so when I was a kid, it followed this strange Yellow man named Winston, and an orange blob named Ellington (not entirely sure if spelled correctly). This game was interesting to me for how strangely advanced it was for mobile games at the time, it had features like being in a talk show with Winston and talking to him using the microphone, and creating a storybook with Winston using your input. I've remembered this game a few times over the years but over these past few days it has been all over my mind. There isn't much documentation of the game from what I found, besides two YouTube videos and a few articles.
What I'm mainly looking for is the IPA file or even just more photos/videos of gameplay. I'll link the videos and articles I found that go into more depth about it than I did.
Through a TechCrunch article about ToyTalk (which I recently learned got renamed to PullString in around 2016) I found a new image showcasing ToyTalk's old games, I can only assume that the Thomas & Friends one is lost as well. But the main thing I noticed about this image is the photo that they have attached to The Winston Show, this is from what I believe to be a newer version of The Winston Show, which, instead of taking place at a movie studio, takes place in a spaceship.
Beginning to lose hope with this search, I recently got into contact with two co-founders of ToyTalk, Oren Jacob and Martin Reddy. And I was informed by one of them that they no longer have the rights to the IP for the The Winston Show and that Apple owns it now since they acquired their company in 2019, I really don't know where to go from here unless someone shows up and happens to have the IPA file on hand. So it looks like I'm just going to have to stop focusing on the search unless someone else comes around that would like to help.
