If anyone lives in Canada and used to watch TVOKids, you might know what I'm talking about. I believe it aired around 2009-2012, I recall the series airing after whatever show came on at 8:00am every weekday (Arthur Maybe?). Anyone remember how on Gisele's Big Backyard, There were short filler skits based on the other puppet characters? There was one for Melvin the Skunk called "The Adventures of Sir Reads-A-Lot".
It was about the knight Sir Reads-A-Lot and his trusty horse (which is really just fake) named "Bookmark". and he travels Canada looking for libraries and places to read books or signs at. This one stuck out to me because it had it's own silly theme song. and I remember some of the lyrics to it, Every episode began showing a map, showing his next destination while the narrator talks about his journey to the library. and he learns things like how to check out books.
I remember there were episodes viewable on TVOKids website, there was a flash game for it, and I believe episodes of it were on YouTube at one point. I'm not sure when it stopped airing, but it seems to be gone from the internet now. I found some kind of streaming service that has some of Gisele's Big Backyard skits, but none about Readsalot, I found a page from TVOParents that talks about the flash game for it, but the link to the game shows that the page no longer exists.
I want this found, the show was a memorable part of my childhood.
I remember a lot about old lost Canadian children's programming, sadly though, my era was not 2009 - 2012, more so like 2003 - 2005 lol:P sounds interesting though
