I have a podcast where I interview people in the entertainment industry, and I've had two completely disconnected instances where an unreleased/unfinished cartoon was brought up by two different voice actors (Trevor Devall and Sam Vincent.) Somewhere in the mid 90s there was an animated series in development called "The Lost Continent", about the lost continent of Lumeria, where it would involve time travel and characters from different points in history, such as a knight (played by Trevor Devall), a samurai, a pirate etc. Sam Vincent was going to play the lead (named Jack Tilden), and it was going to have between 26 and 40 episodes (Trevor said 26, and Sam said 40).
At some point during development, the project went under and the show was never finished due to funding, so the entire project was shelved. Trevor and Sam had never really seen any art for the show, and they have no idea how far along it was into production, just that they had finished recording the episodes, and that Scott McNeil was also in it. It was also being directed by voice director and voice actor Sue Blu (Transformers, Scooby Doo and the Ghoul School, Grandma Got Runover by a Reindeer.)
I've tried digging into this show before, and have never been able to find concept art, or even a mention of it anywhere online really. The only information I've gotten out of it is from Sam and Trevor. I've tried contacting Sue Blu through Facebook but haven't gotten a response, so it'd be kind of hard to get any real info out of it aside from contacting people who were possibly involved. If it was going to have a 26-40 episode run, I'm going to assume they had several Vancouver based VA's involved, people like Scott McNeil, Kathleen Barr, David Kaye, Ian James Corlett etc. So those would be the only people I could think to contact on this, especially since Sam and Trevor don't seem to remember the company.
Here's the instances of them talking about the show
