I POSTED THIS IN THE WRONG BOARD. So sorry for that.
I believe this is the right board to put this in. First time posting so let me know if I've made any mistakes.
Back in the late 2000s, I used to be very into watching animated short films on various websites, and I had a particular favorite. I have no memory of what it was called, if it was a personal or college project, or even when it was uploaded online before I found it. I've only seen it a couple of times when I was a preteen, and now have found no traces of it since. It was a 2D, possibly flash, animation about a young woman who worked as an assistant at an office job, had a very snobby roommate, and a huge crush on a guy in her town who was in a band. The plot of it is as follows. This is all from my memory and in what I think is the chronological order.
The main girl is at her job filing papers when her crush comes in and greets her. She's flusters as he tells her that he's been trying to promote his band who's playing a gig in a bar soon, and he asks if she could print out a bunch of fliers and possibly spread them around town. She agrees and gets to it right after he leaves. While she's daydreaming about him, the printer makes ungodly copies of the flyer, and after she notices, she grabs them and runs across the room to try and get to work on spreading them. However, she trips, and with her being on the top floor, the fliers fly out the window and blow in the wind all over the street.
She's upset thinking she's messed up. However, in a later scene, the crush comes back to her and is grateful for her getting the word out on his band, saying their show sold out and he doesn't question how she did it. He rewards her with a ticket he got for her so that she could come see the show. In the next scene she's walking around town with the ticket, trying to protect it, but I believe she got distracted and a gust of wind was able to slip it out of her grasp. A chase scene follows, involving shots of her chasing it inside of a bus, to even getting on top of a clock tower and dangling off one of the big hands. This chase scene ends with her eventually losing the ticket entirely.
Near the end of the film, the second to last scene, it shows that she was able to get into the bar they were playing in. I think she sneaked her way in. The band begins playing but it's obviously everyone in the bar is starting to get insanely drunk, including the band members. I think it ends with either a giant fight breaking out, or the girl threw up either in front of or on her crush, and she ran out of the bar in embarrassment. The last scene is her in bed, might have been after she woke up with a hangover, laying down and looking upset that she ruined her chance. However she sees that a message was left on her machine so she plays it. It turns out to be the crush calling her from the bar, drunkedly rambling to her about what's happening around him. The last shot is her on her side listening to the message with a content smile and sighing out of love.
I haven't mentioned the snobby roommate at this point, and that's because I have no memory of what order her scenes play in or where they go in between the others. But these are the two scenes I remember for her.
The first is her and the main girl are in a laundromat, probably one that's inside the building they live in, talking to each other in a very passive aggressive way, with the snobby roommate ending the conversation with a petty final word. The main girl does something to get back at her roommate for her remarks, and makes a sly one-liner with a smirk before walking out while the roommate stands there fuming.
The second, which thinking about this scene might've played after the first one with the fliers, is of the main girl being outside of their building and trying to race inside to escape incoming rain, while way up ahead of her is the snobby roommate going inside, and the automatic doors lock behind her. The main girl pounds on the door, which the roommate notices, but decides to ignore her and walk away. The main girl makes an angry face before thunder is heard and it begins to rain. She then melts into a green puddle on the floor, then states it was acid rain.
Some additional info:
-I'm pretty sure the crush was the lead singer of the band, as he's the one that speaks when they play at their gig.
-I'm fairly certain I saw it in the VERY late 2000s, so probably between 2008 to 2010, but I have a feeling the film came out between 2005 to 2007, maybe earlier than that.
-I remember the crush having a voice that sounded like a chilled out skater boy, most similar comparison I can think of being Jude Lizowski from 6teen.
-The main girl had a very soft voice.
-The animation style from what I remember gave me a similar vibe of Making Fiends.
Here's my own recreation of what the characters looked like, plus what the artstyle VAGUELY looked like.

PLEASE NOTE: The art style isn't a perfect 1 to 1 recreation. The lines were more thin and a bit scraggly, similar to Ed, Edd, n' Eddy.
This is literally everything I could remember about it. I have extremely vivid memories of so many moments from this short film, yet for the life of me cannot remember the name or when it was uploaded or who even made it. I've checked dailymotion, vimeo, youtube, and even newgrounds. I've made multiple deep diving google searches that have all come up with dead ends. I've made posts on multiple different subreddits, all failed. This is pretty much my last resort.
If ANYONE out there recognizes anything in this, and can at least give me the name of the film or even the person/people that made it, I'll be incredibly grateful.
