I’ll go first: Apparently it’s rumored that B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations got far enough that a copy of the near-complete film got sent to McDonals corporate with the purpose being that they could make ads and sponsor the film, with it being theorized McDonalds was supposed to produce Happy Meal toys to promote the film during its would-be marketing campaign.
Additionally, in terms of all the things being made along the film, there was also a Tie-In Video Game (that didn’t get too far, probably only a couple playable demos at most, if even that), and a Netflix animated series titled B.O.O Academy, which is what the “Franchise Ghosts” were made for (it’s theorized that none of the haunters from the film were going to return in the show.)
The show also didn’t get far, with 3 seasons greenlit, a couple actors brought on board and a few scripts written, but not much more before they pulled the plug on it.
