I'm gonna be that guy. The Paley Centre does not allow recordings on-site. This is a recording that was most likely made against the wishes of the centre. The LMW does not support media being found this way.

Oh...
I didn't know this recording came from the Paley Center, I thought it came from a private collection or something.
Now I see everything in a different light.
I don't think that's an honest thing to do. Whoever recorded the film will probably have problems in the future, it seems. Maybe the "Episode 847" situation all over again?

OOF.
I didn't know that place existed honestly.

Honestly this case makes me wonder if there are cases where the creator or owner of something wants to release something to the public, but these centers don't allow them to.

How could a centre have more control over an intellectual property then the rights owner?

Ok, yeah, you're right on that. Still though, the creator who wanted it out to the public could be screwed in such situations if he didn't like how it's being treated.
Unless the creator IS the owner, in which case they could tell the centre to f*** off. Or maybe the owner went defunct & thus there's no way anyone involved in that production's getting it back.
