Wii Cat Origin From Photo Channel

This kind of reminds me of something. A photo of a cat is also famously included as an easter egg in Smash Bros. Brawl's Pokemon Stadium 2 stage.


It was long rumored (and kind of taken as fun fact) that this was a picture of Masahiro Sakurai's cat, though he apparently denied this. There's not much information on this, so I'm going to assume that the origin of this photograph isn't fully known. This texture is still included in the Smash Ultimate version of the stage.
