Hardee's Animated Commercials [1970s, George Bakes]

In the 1970s, Hardee's had a group of characters, including their main ones Gilbert Giddyup and Speedy Mcgreedy . While later ads used a Hello Dolly parody, the earlier commercials used a parody of "Hurry On Down" by Nellie Lutcher. The best known examples of the "Hurry On Down To Hardee's" commercials are ones by Cass Elliot, but there were animated ones with Gilbert Giddyup and Speedy Mcgreedy as well. There were two on Youtube at one point, one where Speedy is describing the Deluxe Huskee hamburger, gets interrupted by Gilbert, and eats the burger, and another one where Speedy sneaks into a television and tries to steal Hardee's food, only to be stopped by Gilbert turning the television off. However, both commercials are no longer on Youtube, and the Cartoon Research article [Commercials Animated By Warren Batchelder and George Bakes] list the commercials as private.
