Hello! sans here, so this page is about lost Disney AR games that were released throughout 2021-2022. This page will go over: How these games were lost, what they were, weird things, and on how these games may be able to be found.
== How was it lost? ==
Last year, On September 1st, the disney movie insiders app had officially shut down. This app was a mobile version of disneymovieinsiders.com (formaly disneymovieclub.com), but, there was one thing that made this app special. There was 6 (known) games. These were all themed around disney ip such as: wreck it ralph, rons gone wrong, eternals, toy story, captain falcon and the winter soldier, and raya and the last dragon. These 6 games are now lost to time as when the servers had gotten the plug
pulled, no one had thought of recording and uploading, or preserving these games. So thatg brings us to now. Me, you, a community of around 8k+ members, and a bunch of lost disney games.
== WHAT WERE THESE GAMES? ==
So. Lets start off with the earliest games and go to the last. Our first game was a toy story 4 themed photo game. You would open this game and it would let you select one of the 4 characters, woody, buzz, bo peep, and forky. Thanks to reddit user U/SnooGoesSmoo,we have a bunch of the photos of the models. so, what are the others, next off, we have a wreck it ralph pancake milkshake game for the second movie. Now im gonna go more in dept on this game in the weird things section, as i found a weird peice of info throughout research. Our first game that released after the launch of the ar games, the captain falcon and winter soldier training grounds. In this game you throw the shield to diffrent targets to hit a main target. This is one of the only games that we have actual footage of. This game also had a small promo image saved on the wayback machine.
The next 3 have almost nothing known about them so ill do a lighting round: eternals movie story: play throughout a few scenes in the movie, rons gone wrong bbot designer: make your own bbot, take pictures with it. And raya and the last dragon training, you could summon scrolls using ar, and scan raya and the last dragon movie posters to animate them using AR. These were the 6 now lost games that we know of. Any other games havent been found yet.
== WEIRD THINGS ==
So remember that wreck it ralph game from earlier? turns out that its a carbon copy of a imessage app
under the same name. The game consists of you swiping the pancake to the bunny and the milkshake to the kitty. This resembled a scene from the movie. If anyone had somehow still had this imessage game installed, a APK might be able to be made. But not much is known on this imessage game besides a few YT videos and a news article about it.
Also, the later found eternals ar experience also had its own app. So finding either the app or dmi ar version could work.
== HOW TO FIND? ==
The main thing blocking these games is getting a working server, as these games must be downloaded after you download the app, AND you need to have an account. So besides a APK, there's around 3 barriers.
