Dexter's lab DVD set episodes out of order?

So I just picked up the new DL complete set DVD and other then the predictably bad packaging (Same as fosters home set) it seems pretty good! even includes ego trip. My only confusion is season ones episode order. they seem to be all outta wak? there not even in production order from what I can tell. I understand why "Lab A Story" is here instead of season 2, they didn't include the pulled Monkey episode here... But as far as the out of order goes, Anyone know why? (Also they split season 2 up into 3 season for some reason? so it says 6 seasons on the back but whatever.)
