What I mean by this is something that you remember from you're childhood that has gone completely missing, as if you dreamed it or something.
For me personally, It's a FNAF themed Cart Ride game I found on ROBLOX in 2017, around the time I had made my first account, the only FNAF themed part were a couple morphs at the start, the cart ride itself was anything but FNAF related, I'm still trying to search for it since like 2019-2021 and I am still heavily perplexed by it.
You may be thinking I could just log into my old account, except I can't because little me put random gibberish as the name and the password, not my fault if I didn't know English! (I am Italian, I only learned English around 2020 and ROBLOX didn't have multilanguage features until later on)
Is this thread for existing lost media or lost media you made up in your dreams?
I'm going to interpret it the latter way, which is kind of an interesting phenomenon.
Anyone remember these Spaghetti O's commercials?
I could have sworn that there was a version that featured the brother and sister featured in that commercial dancing to The Buggles "Video Killed the Radio Star". I would have been 6-8 years old when this supposed version of the commercial aired. I'm convinced it was a false memory, as I've never seen it resurface.
You know what, in that case, I had a dream regarding B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations where Addison electrocuted Wet Willie for failing to retrieve Jackson’s Hauntlet (which is why he was in the electric jump rope in that one clip), but instead of simply exploding into ectoplasm, he… became a chicken gyro.
A chef ghost came up, and powderized the chicken gyro that was once Wet Willie, which Addison did some lines with, snorting it up his nose through a straw, before realizing there was cyanide in the gyro, and he fucking dies.
Then Jackson & Watts show up, and reveal they had cyanide pills, before Smelvin then called for all of Addison’s surviving cronies to just jump the two, but befor that could happen, Off-the-rails-Oscar suddenly summoned a subway train, which crushed them both, and all the ghosts of S.K.A.R.E did the griddy grimace shake dances.

I mean existing lost media that has seemingly disappeared, no documentation, no footage or even proof it existed, it's like it just *poofed* out of existence, with only your memory serving as proof
I remember a fever dream where on tv it was promoting some obscure product, i changed the channel and went back to the channel again and the commercial was over.
Hi Im Red! Nice to meet you! I Rarely search for lost media but when i do i dont do anything noticeable but i atleast do something, I am making a web series [CANCLED TILL LATE 2024-2025 FOR CONTINUATION]
I'm a biiiig Muppet fan. This weekend I wanted to watch Muppets Most Wanted so I did. However, I noticed that in the opening song when Honey Bunsen says "I don't mean to be a stickler, but this is the 7th sequel to our original motion picture" I could have sworn his computer monitor shows pictures of all of the other past Muppet movies. Instead there was nothing. Am I misremembering it? Because why even emphasize his computer monitor then?

I still can't get over that this song about SpaghettiOs was sung by my favorite band Blink 182

I remember that when I was little, in our kindergarten we had a dvd player. One day I came in the room after going to the bathroom and I saw a green dexy Co logo (basically the normal one with green background instead of yellow) and even said it so. Unfortunaly I don't remember for what the commercial was because it was the end for it. But after that I never saw it again, I looked through various commercials, but I only found one without the background from the 90s (witch is unfortunately lost now). I think i misrembered it because from all dexy Co commercials from dvds, all of them have the normal one.
Mentioned in another thread quite a while ago, but I always associated the game series Suikoden with a game cover and/or ad featuring a nonexistent blonde male character set to a green "fuzzy, ephemeral" background. At this point, I was much younger then, and I think I was "synthesizing" a couple of pieces of game art together, particularly the Secret of Mana series and Tales of series.

I could have sworn there was a GTA: San Andreas episode of "Video Mods" on MTV - it was Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's "Ain't Nuthin But a G Thang" being performed by virtual versions of them in front of a crowd in Santa Maria (Santa Monica) beach. It featured a large stage, performers, the entire song, cheers, etc. and it even had a mini story that continued after.
However, no such episode exists. I guess my memory conjured up a nonexistent music video.

are you talking about that segment thing where they had different songs made into music videos with video game characters?

I could swear that Claritin used to have commercials with a cover of the song "I can see clearly now" and possibly "perfect day" by hoku in the early 00s, but I can't find anything about this run of ads at all now.
