Lost Sonic OCs

There's few fandoms with as many fan made original characters as Sonic the Hedgehog. Google your name followed by "the Hedgehog" and you'll find at least one, I guarantee it. But with the amount to populate a small country we can find online, I found myself thinking about how many could be missing. Posted on some deleted, unarchived Sonic fan site, or deleted by the creator out of embarrassment and then forgotten about, the ways they could go missing are nearly endless. I'm not trying to start a search, in fact I doubt many could be found, it's just a shower thought I had.
