Go ahead, talk about what you consider lost media in your life.
:]
Hi Im Red! Nice to meet you! I Rarely search for lost media but when i do i dont do anything noticeable but i atleast do something, I am making a web series [CANCLED TILL LATE 2024-2025 FOR CONTINUATION]
Well I consider all of the art that got deleted off of Deviantart, Twitter, Pixiv, and Tumblr to be lost media, especially the stuff that I really liked. Again, I really hope that archive sites will be created to allow people to find and download everything that was deleted from said sites, along with everything else that hasn't been deleted yet.

Well to get on topic, I guess anything that isn’t a physical object, not like movie scripts or something relating to the production of a piece of media, but rather something that isn’t media at all, like toys, snacks, ice cream and whatnot. Those are physical objects. Groceries, even. They’re just as interesting a subject as lost media, don’t get me wrong, but they are not media by any means, at least not how I personally would define media.
To be fair, the two can overlap if say, a long-discontinued product had an ad, two or a few made for it, but they’re all lost.
Anything that can be archived online is lost media to me. Thats why I dont count toys as lost or foods since, until they invent some magic machine to pull objects out of screens, they can't really be archived online. However recipes for foods, stitch patterns from toys, and audio recordings from toys can be archived.

Yeah I know what you mean. I got Little Caesar's last year when they were doing the Call of Duty promo and I had to save one of the collectible boxes that they were giving out. For context this is what I mean:
This looked too cool and cute to throw away. I've still got the box in my room. I'm not a CoD fan like I used to be, but it's a cool promo item nonetheless.

HOLY SHIT IT’S BEEN ALMOST A YEAR ALREADY?!
Literally the last time I had Little Caesar’s, they still had this promo!

I still have a memory of going into Little Caesar's when they were having the Karate Kid promotion and had the fun colorful pizzeria decor with drawings. Shame that every fast food interior is the same soulless corporate eatery these days.
