This refers to various found unreleased games & protos from Archer Maclean, who also made the great Dropzone for Atari 8-Bit computers, alongside other classics like International Karate, IK+ & Jimmy White's "Whirlwind" Snooker. He was a very important British game programmer who sadly passed away a while back. Games That Weren't was given permission to dump, preserve & share various works of his that were never seen before, including various unreleased ports of arcade games which he made out of passion & in one case I have heard of(Defender), to try & pitch to Atari before becoming the Dropzone we know today.
I made this thread in hopes of finally letting you folks know about this because I want that, at the very least, know that Archer Maclean can be remembered for his wonderful & important work within the British microcomputer game industry. I know British video games from back in those days have a harsh reputation here in the US, but I find this stuff interesting & thus, I thought I'd give this stuff a spotlight.
