Facing multiple copyright strikes from Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions Co. (ShoPro), the YouTube group Elite3 and their channel 1KidsEntertainment may be permanently shut down on September 6th, 2017. Best known for their ongoing 'abridged parody' series, Pokémon 'Bridged, Elite3 are attempting to defend themselves against the strikes, but should they fail, their library of videos (also including vlogs, podcasts, convention panels and livestreams) may be lost from the Internet forever.
For now, all of the main Pokémon 'Bridged episodes (and mini-episodes) are backed up at vid.me/Elite3, but their remaining videos (including the original three pre-redubbed episodes) have yet to be backed up in the case of channel shutdown. Reuploads of their videos may appear on their backup backup YouTube channel, though backing up these videos may be a smart idea should the shutdown occur
As made clear in the video, harassing ShoPro is strongly discouraged. The conflict is only between Elite3 and ShoPro, and any attempt to contact the business may only make the situation worse. Elite3 are treating this as a worse-case scenario, and the shutdown may simply blow over eventually, but interfering with this conflict may very well result in the channel's demise. For now, the best course of action should be to back up their remaining videos, subscribe to their backup channel, follow on Twitter for further updates, and/or show support at their Patreon page.
