Chitty: The Adventure Continues!: Does this show exist?

Howdy! I was poking through an archived animation forums website and was intrigued by someone's mention of a "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang"-based animated show called "Chitty: The Adventure Continues!". I didn't find anything about this through a web-search, although this person goes into a lot of detail about it so I have a hard time believing he made it up.

Here is the archived post from 8 October 2004 (link): he mentions that it would be starting in Fall 2005, and that it was weird result of a buyout of MGM (I don't know much of what that means tbh, but MGM's Wikipedia page talks about it- it was bought by a group including Sony, Comcast, etc...). It seems more like it is loosely based on the movie rather than any kind of continuation.

Does anyone know anything about this show, or maybe have tips for looking for more evidence of its existence?

Since I can't find any web results for that title, I'm a little worried I'm being punked lol. It seems unlikely that something would just fall off the face of the internet like that, but anything can happen!
