Since OG web animation came up in another thread, I will say that I never found "Dr. Tran" funny. EDIT: Same for Charlie the Unicorn. GOOD LORD people at my job were OBSESSED with it and I never "got it."
Oh here's a hot take, cartoon reviewers overreacted when it came to the movie "Sing!" It's a kids movie with basic story elements, not that I don't think you cannot put challenging concepts in kids movies, but not every animated movie needs to be the next Coco or whatever. It can be a dumb jukebox musical with dumb animals. It's not that serious.

Sing is my guilty pleasure kids movie. The story isn't anything amazing but the songs are really good to the point I pirated the soundtrack years ago.
On a side note. What's up with the hate on the elephant character? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I sure saw some err extreme hate art of her on DeviantArt and was out of the loop.
Hot take: Florida is overrated. Hell, Florida sucks. I would know, I was born and raised here for the past 16 years. The bugs here are awful, the state bird should be a mosquito, 70% of the people here are either assholes or crackheads, and the only season we have is summer. I have never even seen snow in person, nor did I get to grow up with fall or winter in general. No chill breeze, pumpkin spice vibes, changing leaf colors, waking up to snow outside and hoping it snowed to the point school would be out for the day, getting to play in the snow, make snow angels, have snowball fights, none of that.
It doesn’t help that I never even got to leave the state until I was 14. Just a little under 2 years ago.
In addition, that new law where everyone has to show ID to access social media is just- no. This place is a dystopian nightmare. I’d rather live in L.A, and I’ve never even been to California.

I do not want to go to Florida, too many disasters and thing you mentioned. Whenever I hear the name of that state, I just never react to it.

I know people who live in Florida and they LOVE it, but they are also very well-off. I imagine it's one of those states where unless you are very high up in "money/status/business rank" (IE own like 10 gas stations, or 5 rental properties), it's not particularly pleasant to live there. And yeah, for years, Florida was a running joke for a reason-the state is basically FLORIDA MAN, redneckvillestan, tourist trap, retireegildedcastle, and tourist trap beach. And that's basically it. I'm sure there's some nice history there, but other states have nice history too.
It used to have cheap land, and cheap housing going for it, and doesn't even have THAT anymore. So what's the point?

Here’s a better nickname for the state rather than all those and it’s official one “The Sunshine State”: how about “The Pothead Peninsula”?
Know some people love covering every inch of their walls and having their shelves and dressers filled with knick-knacks and collectables.
However, I personally like having empty walls and very little cluster on shelves. I am someone who deals with a lot of anxiety and when things are orderly, I tend to feel a little better.
Oh also i cannot stand pop tarts. They’re not just overrated. They’re disgusting. I’ll take Oreos, beef jerky, and ice cream over pop tarts any day.
I actually kinda like the Oreo pop tarts, but can't stand to waste 200-400+ (!) calories on the "fruit ones." YUCK. I did eat them as a kid but can't stand them as an adult. EDIT: Also tried the "chocolate chip" ones without frosting, which I had wanted to try for years (parents wouldn't buy for me) and good lord, were those a major disappointment. Not sure what I expected, but they sure weren't good.
I like the fruit ones but I never cared for the chocolate ones, my mom always refused to buy those ones cause they were too much sugar.

I think people tend to overreact to a lot of stuff aimed at kids. Like I think people were WAAAYYYYYY too hard on that live-action Fairly Oddparents show "Fairly Odder" and "That Girl Lay Lay"(seriously somebody must've had a grudge against that show to give it such low ratings on IMDB)like those shows ain't meant to be high art or anything, just pure fun and i'd honestly much rather watch them then some prestige dramas(can't fucking stand GOT, always found it massively overrated).

I really can't watch most cartoon reviewers anymore because a lot them take media meant for kids waaay too seriously. Even the people who are super into Bluey, like cool this children's show has good themes, but you're still not it's core audience. I love watching cartoons, and I see myself as an animation buff I suppose, but I don't want to either shit on something or become obsessed with a piece of media that'd literally meant for a much younger demographic.

Yeah i'm real sick of adults gushing over Bluey at this point just like I was sick of Bronies in the days of MLP FIM.
