Hot Take Thread

Interesting, didn't know it went back that far. Anyways I do still like Top Hat Gaming Man but I do wish Youtubers like him wouldn't feel the need to use clickbaity thumbnails, it's actually become a bit of a hot button issue with Second Wind(basically all the people that used to do video content for the website The Escapist before it's parent company fired some of the higher ups and pretty much everyone quit the site in protest)as some of its channels have been using thumbnails(even Yahtzee)and there's a number of fans that understandably don't like it and feel like it goes against the spirit of an independent group like Second Wind.

There is a certain art to thumbnails, if they are funny or interesting and represent the video well that's fine with me(Nostalgia Critic's thumbnails are usually pretty good)but if they just have a bunch of random shit thrown in to try and grab people's attention(which is something I see a lot of drama channels doing)then that's no good.
