I've only had mine for about a month but so far I think the ipad (or any screen based tablet) is better and possibly more useful for the majority of average people than a laptop. The biggest advantages that a laptop has can be achieved better with a computer (such as gaming, 3D graphic rendering, web development, etc.) and most average people probably won't get into that sort of stuff that a computer can do.

Personally for me, even those don't satisfy someone like me. I had one as a kid & I kinda enjoyed using it(?), but only for a while. A lot of my videos were done on a phone & I didn't have much fun recording videos with it. Maybe it's because I like to push buttons & game, but anything like an iphone or ipad is useless to someone like me outside of calling.
Dreams are boundless, imaginations are infinite, space is a multi-directional spiral & Akazukin ChaCha is my favorite anime

I have found that tablets are my FAVORITE format for reading comics. The one I had was like the perfect size for them, and I could just "swipe" when I wanted to change pages. I miss my old tablet sometimes, I let my sibling have it for work tests for their job.
The original Animal Crossing for the N64 is cute as a novelty, but is it super fun to play in comparison to the superior Gamecube updated version, or the arguably even better Animal Crossing New Leaf, or Animal Crossing Wild World? I don't think so. I own the dang original game and I don't even think I've played it more than an hour so far. EDIT: As neat as it would have been, I also don't think it would have been worth the time and effort to pressure out an official English translation for a global market. It was 2001, and the world had moved on from the N64. Waiting on the Gamecube was the right call for them.
It is fine to be nostalgic about something from 2010 in 2024. That's like when it was 2010 and I was "stanning" something from 1996. Sheesh. Let the "younger yoots" and "the yoots at heart" have their nostalgic fun

They are fine for entertainment purposes. I rather do my school work and artsy hobbies on a computer though. It's tedious to use mobile versions of some applications due to the condensed UI and tiny buttons. Maybe it's my big fingers lol.

Sometimes the remakes ARE better than the original. One example is with Scrapyard Dog. The original Atari 7800 game(by BlueSky Software of Vectorman fame) IMO is kinda crap, with graphics that looked bland & boring even back then, poor physics, level design that's either boring & stale or beyond frustrating, terrible music & good ideas that are executed poorly. The Atari Lynx remake(which I set as my profile pic & by Creative Software Designs, which apparently did 1 other game, Advance To Boardwalk, before vanishing into the moonlight, never to be heard of again) is a DRASTIC improvement in every sense of the word. The graphics & art direction are very much improved(e.g. the scrapyard levels ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE A SCRAPYARD), the gameplay is smoother & more fair, the level design is more dynamic & fair, there are more settings for the levels, boss battles, the music is really nice, etc.
For more details, I suggest watching these videos on the 2 versions because as of now(will likely write a fair bit more on how I feel about each version), I'm not too sure on how to describe either version all too well:
Duke Nukem Forever is a perfectly fine game for what it is. Maybe I enjoyed because I never played any of the original games and I only very loosely followed it's long development cycle so my expectations for it weren't too high to begin with. Sure it's rough around the edges and you can tell how long it was in development by the sheer breadth of references to different types of FPS games(as Yahtzee pointed out on Zero Punctuation)but I still had a pretty good time with that game and it's DLC and i'd love for Duke to come back one of these days.
Also Da Boom Crew is nowhere near one of the worst animated shows ever like so many people make it out to be. Sure the plot is kinda nonsensical and some of the characters are kinda one-dimensional but I still found it to be a pretty entertaining show with some creative visuals and fun and entertaining villains, i'm glad the whole thing is finally on Tubi(still bummed about that cliffhanger ending though).

I hate emojis. They look so wrong to me & after The Emoji Movie, I just felt like NEVER using them. I MUCH prefer emoticons, but unfortunately these forums instead use images of LMW-tan faces. I mean, I get it, but dang it emoticons are so much more fitting for the text then emojis ever were no matter which version they were!

Nickelback is in no way, a good band IMO. But were they the worst band ever? Or even the worst rock band ever? Absolutely not. They're just generic rock, and not particularly "atrocious" or offensive. They're just white bread rock that can be played as a "functional track" on some generic pop/rock radio station that your aunt puts on at her office.
Again, I don't find them particularly or specially offensive. Except for Photograph. Which I most CERTAINLY find offensive. LOL.

I haven't listed to Nickelback, but I feel like they wouldn't be as good as Rush.

I happen to really like them personally, they have some really good songs. Though their last album was a bit of a letdown for me as while the singles were mostly solid, the deep cuts were a real mixed bag("Just One More" is probably the worst song they've ever done, not a great way to end the album).
I especially love Lullaby as that one gets me legit emotional and I've seen so many stories from people whose lives were saved by that song.
I love Photograph myself, not as good as the Def Leppard song by the same name but still good in it's own right.
Another hot take of my own-I never understood the all the hype behind Minecraft personally, that's one franchise I've been perfectly happy to ignore. The fact that it's own creator turned out to be a real shitlord makes me glad that's one fandom I never got into.
Also never got into the hero shooter trend(of course the only one I actually liked-Battleborn got shut down), Overwatch bored me as a game, sure it's produced some good fan-works but that's in spite of the actual games not being very good at all with their terrible business models. Fortunately this is one case where the rest of the general public seems to have finally caught up with me with the sequel(if you can even call it a sequel frankly)getting massively review-bombed on Steam.
Also speaking of Gearbox I think Borderlands 3 has a legit good story and is a very funny game and I happen to like the new characters.
