I dunno about a douche, but it makes you sound very gay. Glizzy sounds like a certain thing that if I said it here I’d d probably get banned, so…… if you know, you know.

I don't get the hype behind Ghost in the Shell. the animation is breathtaking and I quite liked the music but the plot felt pretentious and hard to follow. almost fell asleep

It reminds me of the "WAY TOO high concept" feel of Tenet, which I wasn't able to finish <_< I much prefer the GiTS TV series, I feel it makes "more" sense in how it executes it "high concept themes."
</div></div>I prefer the live-action movie and video games myself and I think Scarlet Johanson was a great choice for the role regardless of what the detractors claim.

Speaking of anime. I couldn't get into Urusei Yatsura. I didn't find Lum likeable to be honest. Maybe the show gets better later on but I don't know if I want to waste my time on a show I am mixed on.

I think this Dr t stuff is incredibly stupid. ARGs are stupid in general. Especially this one.
Look, it was never supposed to be an ARG. He was just going to join the forum, say some stuff, do his “Mega Crab Attack”, and post about some Dr t related lost media. That was originally the plan. But then people started gaining interest in his plan, and then it was turned into an ARG. So, now there’s a full PDF of his new plan.

That doesn't change how I feel about it.
I'm nothing but a mass of concrete yet my heart is calling my name
Any other devoted news broswer-s sick of reading RECESSION in at least 1-2 (if not 3-5 headlines) every single day? Like if it happens, it happens and at this point, I'm just sick of clikcbait-y news acting like just because someone correctly predicted the 2008 recession, then OF COURSE they must be right about this one and we are destined to enter into another one (I mean, of course we will eventually, that's the business cycle, but technically the Pandemic was a "recession" and we survived that). And then the next day, there's yet another article with yet another "expert" proclaiming the same thing. Business isn't linear. There can be hints of a recession and then one doesn't happen. I've been reading RECESSION RECESSION RECESSSIOOONNNN for the past 4 years. Layoffs have happened throughout our business history, sometimes the job market is better, other times it's worse. That's business.
Inflation, housing prices, tech layoffs-of course those are problems and worth discussing but...that's doesn't mean we are in a recession or about to have one.
And righhhhtttt just like all of those online articles/sites that claimed that the entire world was going to collapse in 2009. Surrreeeee.
EDIT: On another note, sometimes businesses try to expand TOO QUICKLY because a single city wants 3 of their retail stores! Then you later read:" _____ business is failing, people are going to lose jobs, which means the economy is failing, oh noes!" I mean, when the business expanded too quickly without adequately surveying market demand, no duh business is not going to boom! That's why I'm not particularly panicked the way others are when this happens.
Though I loved it as a kid/teen/young adult, I've gotten to where I don't like Hershey's syrup anymore. Or any cold choco syrup. Like at all.
If I'm going to have a "choco sauce," it better be ACTUAL hot fudge.
I grew up poor, and sometimes when I couldn't eat I'd just drink that stuff straight up. That stuff is like a laxative when you do that lmfao But I agree with you. Or maybe I just don't like syrup on my ice cream unless it's Dairy Queen. So I'm not derailing here's a hot take about fast food
Burger King is good

panic! at the disco probably wouldn't have reached the success it achieved if Ryan Ross was the lead singer. don't get me wrong, his singing voice is amazing, his lyricism is fabulous, and he absolutely MADE the band, but Brendon Urie's unique voice is a big definition of p!atd. Ryan has a pretty typical pop punk voice though it blends so well with Brendon's, I do wish they'd have sung on tracks together more
Let It Be and Yesterday are both incredibly overrated songs.
As a Beatles fan, I can really see where you're coming from, despite being a sucker for Yesterday due to the general energy of it. Let It Be feels way too overplayed, as there's much more iconic songs rather than just Let It Be. I guess it's because most radio stations don't consider other Beatles songs to play and the fact that the album LIB comes from was the last ever studio album produced by the fab four before they'd go their separate ways. I never see other songs from the album get as much attention, though, not even Across the Universe.
