It's this sketch I heard on the radio once... this guy (possibly Eddie Murphy, sounded kind of like his Mr. Robinson character) is trying to get people to donate to the United Way. He's a criminal, and he rattles off his prisoner number a couple times. He also threatens to put a screw driver in "your child's eye" if the listener doesn't donate.
I've been trying to locate it for years to no avail. Maybe it was something a local radio station did? Most of the stations that were in range in my tiny town broadcasted out of Reno, Nevada.
I don't think it was local, though. It didn't sound like one of the local personalities, it sounded like an old recording that they found somewhere, and (again) he did sound an awful lot like Eddie Murphy.
