2024 has no doubt been a big year in terms of lost media, especially with Lostwave (EKT, Back to Bed, Stop Making Me Cry), so I just wanted to ask a question:
What year has been your absolute favorite for lost media? What makes that year so special? Was there something special that was found or was there a lot of things?
Personally, 2022 is my favorite year right now, but 2024 is on track to become my favorite, especially with La Canción de Alicia and The Intertidal Zone being found.

2022 and 2024. The only things found in 2023 that were really noteworthy was the Superwhy Pilot, the Star VS The Forces of Evil pilot, and the Scream 3 Assembly Cut.

Currently lamenting that I missed out on both a script of Blue's Clues Live: Blue's Birthday Party that was on eBay and a new copy of 脳がすくすく! ふりふりねこちゃん (book/toy set that was released at the end of 2016 but recalled in early 2017) that was on Japanese Mercari If anyone ever finds either, please notify me so I know it's in the hands of someone of LMW (although after digitisation I would want to own the physical copies; Blue's Clues and recalled toys are my special interests). Recalled collection (my favourite is the Blue's Clues baby walker): drive.google.com/file/d/1pK5rBTGGHdQ9QqotyK0Y9ec7ooS2wSvf/view?usp=share_link

I'd say Journey of Allen Strange(which I found last year in English) was pretty noteworthy as was the Gibby pilot and all of Out of Jimmy's Head being found in English.

The Shrek "I feel Good" test animation was also something pretty noteworthy
2020, that was when the Gigaleak happened and I feel that had to be the most interesting batch of "lost media" ever. This year is coming pretty close with the insane finds though.
For me it's 2018 only because that's when Pokemon Gold and Silver Spaceworld 97 betas dropped, that was the craziest "game prototype" drop since the Nick Arcade proto for Sonic 2
