In the final scene of The Dark Crystal movie, why didn't the skeksis try to run away from the Crystal Chamber room when the mystics were arriving in the same room, all the while their castle and the garthims were crumbling away? Escaping the room and maybe escaping the entire castle would have helped them avoid having them merge with the mystics, if they wanted to stay as skeksis.
