For years, I've been trying to identify/track down this schmaltzy Christmas commercial from (IIRC) the late nineties-early aughts.
It must have been for cookie dough or something used in baking, because the thing that stands out about it is the part at the end where the little girl tells her mother, "Maybe if we make Santa lots of cookies, he'll give us lots of presents!". When she said "presents" it sounded more like "peasants", which my brother and I thought was hilarious. Even at such a young age, we found the whole commercial really sappy and stupid, so we joked about this "careful what you wish for" scenario where the family wakes up on Christmas morning to a bunch of filthy medieval serfs hanging out in their living room and begging to be fed.
