Now THAT is what a call song for people with very high IQ.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Make Me Cry. The genius lyrics are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of cryeticalphysics most of the meanings will go over a typical listener’s head. There’s also the Artist’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into their characterisation- their personal philosophy draws heavily from Swiftie folk literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these lyrics, to realize that they’re not just meaningful- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike this song truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the understanding in their existential song catchphrase “Waaa, waaa, wa wa, waa” which itself is a cryptic reference to Taygenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as their genius wit unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools. How I pity them. And yes, by the way, i DO have a Make Me Cry tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the intellectuals’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid.

This year has been getting a lot of lostwave finds, which is really impressive. Gives me hope that the holy grail that is "Like the Wind" will someday be identified.

Ehhh, at this point I feel like that song will remain a mystery for at least another 5 or so years. It's one of those songs that feels like it was made by a one-off group that never did anything else & some of the members might not even be alive anymore or have moved outside of Germany.
Dreams are boundless, imaginations are infinite, space is a multi-directional spiral & Akazukin ChaCha is my favorite anime

Honestly, that's fair. You just never know in the end.
