Gonzalo Lira was a controversial online content creator whose videos were originally largely themed around women, the manosphere, and personal development (2017-2021). In 2022, he switched to war reporting. Lots of his original audience left then because they were not interested. He died early this year (more on that later).
His videos are interesting and should be preserved because he was so controversial, and those videos, whether agreeable or not, provide precious insights into the mind of someone like him.
On November 15, 2021, he abruptly deleted everything from his "Coach Red Pill" and "Gonzalo Lira" channels (Patreon announcement, unlisted YouTube announcement, total view counter still at 50 million on the next day before refreshed). Just one video, the last one, was left up (capture from next morning after takedown).
It is ironic how he was complaining about being censored by YouTube when he was the one to voluntarily eliminate his videos in the end. In one of his earlier videos, he also said he made his videos so his children could benefit from them, but in his announcement, he said his content was obsolete now and that online content should "float away" (I don't understand either). I am not sure what lead to the abrupt change of mind.
A month later, as usual, the "this video was removed by the uploader" error message disappeared.
There is an archive channel called "CRP Archive" that was created shortly after, but it does by far not contain all of his videos. It contains lots of videos from his "Coach Red Pill" channel but not his "Gonzalo Lira" channel.
The "MGTOW mirror project" (mgtowmirror.is) had a copy of his entire main channel in 1080p, but the site closed due to lack of funding. However, anything starting at 720p is decent, and for videos without text, even 360p does usually suffice.
Before starting creating online content, he already had a background in filmmaking (last capture of the deleted Wikipedia article on him from 2012 - article deleted in 2014 - a flaw of Wikipedia is that it preserves deletion discussions rather than article contents).
Gonzalo died early this year, apparently due to some lung disease (apparently caused by his smoking). As rational as he claimed himself to be, he ironically did not manage to defeat his tobacco addiction.
Channel index:
- Coach Red Pill (created in 2017, capture from August 2021, prior to purge)
- Gonzalo Lira (created in 2019 because he assumed his original channel was shadowbanned, capture from April 2021, prior to purge, sorted by popularity before YouTube removed that URL parameter)
- Gonzalo Lira again (@gonzalolira0229 - likely a reference to his birth date; Created in 2013, apparently dormant for a long time. )
- The Roundtable — Gonzalo Lira (created in 2022, unedited vlogs)
- CRP Patreon (created October 2018, unlisted videos, URL list)

Something that will probably never be recovered are many original comments under his videos. Since July 2013, the Wayback Machine has been unable to capture YouTube comments because YouTube made a change to the way comments are loaded.
