EDIT: Found an unboxing video online of the toy and it just sounds like the original song not a cover. It was just recorded bad and pitch shift to try to avoid copyright. It's just how most bootleg music making toys are these days. Nothing special and not a cover. But it's possible the audio you had was not the same the actual toy audio from the unboxing and is the same as the one from the above video. EDIT 2: Your video with the audio I shazamed and it brought up the video I linked in the first link and the unboxing video shazamed brought up the original audio of the song which makes me think it was just audio chopping and pitch/speed shifting for copyright.
