Hello. Thought I'd post this here because I haven't had any results anywhere else. Several years ago I came across a 3-hour video of a animated series done by Machinima, called Sonic for hire. The 3 hour video wasn't uploaded by them, but it was uploaded by a user who had been a fan of the series, and compiled every single small clip together into a seamless movie, resulting in the three hour video. I intended to go download it to my PC but by time I had gotten around to doing it, I discovered the 'This video contains content from Machinima, who has blocked it on copyright grounds.'
So, I cannot access the video. I tried contacting the user who uploaded and put the video together asking if they'd be willing to send it to me via email. I then proceeded to spend a terrible almost two months dealing with their useless messages as they beat around the bush and tried to befriend me. This wouldn't have been an issue if them trying to befriend me didn't result in them sexually harassing me, being really creepy and stalking me to an extent. They actually promised me their you-tube password to get into their account, but never did. Last time I spoke to them was in June of I think this year, in which they informed me they her terminal cancer, and claimed they had a month to live. I haven't received any messages or emails from them despite sending it multiple times. They messages stopped suddenly after July...
I don't like them but I hope they're not dead. But I honestly fear they might be. Either that or they dropped off the face of the internet. Either way I cannot and have not received anything from them. I found another use who had the same video re-uploaded to their channel. Spoiler Alert: It was taken down due to copyright as well. I contacted them, in which they promised to email it to me too. The god of fate must hate me because they're still active on YouTube, but have utterly been ignoring my messages. No reply no nothing.
I've tried many things to retrieve the video; way back machine, adds on that let you get past youtube blocks, even hacking to a extent, as well as talking with hackers about youtube blocks to no avail.
A lot of people have told me why don't I just watch the Sonic for hire bits on youtube, as they're uploaded in 20 minute segments. Only issue is them added up does no equal the full three hour version. The full three hour version included smaller videos and clips that I cannot find on youtube, making it impossible to just remake it myself. Even if I don't know in which order the clips were shown. The original guy had knowledge of when they were uploaded in which continuity
