2016 banana split reboot pilot. It deserves attention I guess.
"True crime youtubers talking about a real life murder vs lost media youtubers talking about a cancelled episode of SpongeBob" (This is from a meme please don't take this seriously) I am a funny person
I'm quite shocked that Rugrats lost media isn't discussed that often. I can genuinely imagine a big search for some of its rare contents.
Apart from the Incredible storyjam, what else is there? I'm aware of there being a website that included abandoned and rejected episode information, as well as oddly specific trivia. As an example, I remember one blurb being about which episode was airing at the time when the first plane hit the Twin Towers on 9/11. Like that level of specific.

Not shocked the Lost Media Community isn't more into this since it's not THAT interesting, but I'm shocked the One Piece community isn't more interested in lost One Piece content, like the Long Ring Long Land recap, the Star Wars Special, or One Piece: The Adventure in Grand Line
It befuddles me that, despite its ambitions, the existence of NDA-locked copies, a script and some audio circulating, and SPAWNING A MEME thanks to a bizarre magazine cover, Out to Lunch just keeps being "also present". I feel that it has to boil down to more than rights issues and NDAs as to why nobody involved wants anything to do with it.
Considering this was in a pre-Muppet Show time where Jim Henson tried multiple Julie Andrews specials and the infamous Land of Gortch to show that he and his folks could appeal to older, hipper audiences, it doesn't surprise me that Out to Lunch was likely one of those attempts. (Given its sheer hiddenness, it might secretly have been Jim's biggest "adult" failure.) But since this took Sesame Street and The Electric Company, two edutainment kids shows, and stripped away the educational part for hip sketch comedy and topical TV spoofs, CTW was probably reluctant to air it as its slightly more adult nature would've strayed too far from the shows' intents. That, and some of the sketches nail it down to 1974 with dated references that modern kids might not understand. As this wasn't educational (enough for PBS), this had to be a Henson Associates co-production for ABC, which is rooted into the plot as the characters from both shows take over the ABC News studio. And of course, there's the whole ABC-being-owned-by-Disney thing.
Opinions on OTL are pretty mixed. A writer for Detroit Free Press, while finding the special "charming", also felt that it was for the sake of money. Some other newspapers weren't so kind, feeling that it couldn't be saved even by the Muppets. Joe Hennes's recap for ToughPigs has him in favor of the Sesame bits and criticizing the Electric bits. OTL may have also been intended as an undercover 5th anniversary special for Sesame Street, given its timing, but alas, it aired the hour after The Year Without a Santa Claus, which has proved time and time again to be a far more popular production. Oops.
If it's also that Sesame Workshop could be embarrassed by the whole thing, the dated-and-not-educational nature and middling reputation might explain part of it. It's not at the Paley Center, and though clips have been screened at Museum of the Moving Image events, Henson is careful to only show clips and not the full, uncut production.

Sam and Max: Freelance Police. There is a grand total of one YouTube video covering it. (Or at least when I last checked) Nice. Seems like it could have been a really fun game.

B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations. Don’t get me wrong, it’s gotten more attention this year than it has at any other point, but still. Other unreleased and unfinished Dreamworks films like Larrikins and Me & My Shadow have their own fandoms despite said fan base never seeing the movie.
My guess is that those two movies had a lot of hype behind them, and the films cancellation caused great disappointment, whereas the poster art for B.O.O deterred fans and led them to believe the film would suck, and the movie had a more quiet cancellation compared to the other two.
Mind you, an Incomplete art book and Pitch Bibles were leaked recently, but not many people payed attention to it, to the point they neglected to even put it on the recently found front page area of the lost media wiki whatever it’s called.
The lost Unsolved Mysteries (2000-2002 Dennis Farina era) Segment. A woman named Sharon Davis disappeared in 2001 and Unsolved Mysteries did a segment about her, however her husband (and main suspect of her disappearance) Ron Davis, objected to the episode causing it to be pulled before airing. I'm honestly shocked this doesn't get more attention as it is a mystery connected to a extremely popular show about mysteries.

Oh that's a good lost media case, that's mysteryception right there!
Dreams are boundless, imaginations are infinite, space is a multi-directional spiral & Akazukin ChaCha is my favorite anime
the missing invader zim season 2 scripts. entire chunks of the series gone and not even the fandom itself talks about it. i know there's not much to talk about, all we have from the episodes are titles and the basic ideas of what the episodes would have been about, but it's crazy how extremely rarely i even see them get acknowledged at all.

For me, I feel like someone at least HAS to have made their own wild fanfictions on how the episodes would've played out.

i know the episode "top of the line" was made into a fan animation, i haven't watched it but i know it exists lol
Another one that I'd have to say is probably Spring part 2, an animation that was made for Kickstarter backers of Night In The Woods, but went unreleased afaik, there was also a zine that went out to the folks who worked on the game, as well as a few lucky backers, Because of the limited amount, and the creator of night in the woods being dead, not much is known about either, also, I'm not sure Abt this, but there might've been more animations that went unfinished or unreleased, not sure because of the low amount of info.

I've gained a new respect for that movie recently. On the surface it looks bland, but you can tell the love put into it from looking at the art book, pitch bible, and unreleased merch.
