I'm surprised there hasn't been a bigger focus on searching for the cancelled TMNT 2003 episode "Nightmares Recycled" considering the dedicated searches there are for other 4Kids related lost media.
I assume a lot of 4Kids fans have assumed that the episode was just never completed & only a script was made, even though character concept art specific to that episode HAS shown up.
Dreams are boundless, imaginations are infinite, space is a multi-directional spiral & Akazukin ChaCha is my favorite anime

Well it wasn't 100% complete but it was very close to being done to the point where it was speculated that it would leak back in the 2000s so it wasn't just a script, the first pass of the animation was done and basically all that was left was a few missing shots, sound effects and maybe some music cues.
You Better Don't feels like a sensation just waiting to happen. All it needs is a youtube video.
Pretty much everything from Disney's 2000's era that was cancelled or heavily altered. There's sooo much and it's all interesting. I feel like those searches are definitely smaller than most animation searches.
The "I hate you" toy boat is a large story that became a blip. It's also one that might need a youtube video to be found, if the physical toys containing the audio still exist that is.
EDIT: Oh also, the Carly Rae Jepsen - Chad Kroger collab "I admit there was music". Covered by Todd in the Shadows, but the search is nonexistent.

I feel some people gave up on the "You Better Don't" search. I've seen like 15 commercials/news complinations from Archive so far with no avail. Not that I want to quit but it can be hopeless sometimes. I do imagine it could be sitting around somewhere in a vaguely named recording though or somewhere on an unexpected site.

This is the first time I'm hearing about this, I'm intrigued 👀

there was a massive pixel art doll maker that everyone seems to remember but noones looking for. I think it's lost forever but I've considered starting a project where we find and clean up as many clothing/dolls as we can (and eventually make it playable) but I've been too busy to start rn

The problem is that it revolves around racism & THAT is a topic that may get the forums invaded, so a video on it that becomes real popular & mentions the thread, well it may attract kinds of people who'll otherwise not give a crap. I know that audience, I've dealt with them before, I don't want them to start a ruckus here.

Yeah that's one reason I haven't gone anywhere near that particular thread, i've got no desire to dig into that can of worms and that's one piece of lost media that I truly don't care if it's ever found or not.

I originally heard about the toy from a post on tumblr. Would be interesting to find the audio!
That post was from me! I posted it there to help spread the search, and they had some interesting finds!
I'm surprised that the May 16, 2003 Cartoon Cartoon Fridays block didn't get much attention as I was hoping for. We got a full line-up of the block, we know that Dexter hosted that week's block, but we never got any official recordings of the block. I even asked Captain B.Z if he has any recordings of CCF from 2003, including the May 16th block, but alas, he didn't have any recordings of CCF from 2003. I'm surprised that actual lost media enthusiasts didn't touch upon finding other lost Cartoon Cartoon Fridays segments, considering the JBVO episodes we found last media could mean the discovery of more recordings of more segments of Cartoon Network blocks like CCF and Fridays.
I've never seen any lost media attention towards CCF, ever. Which is a shame. Plus, I don't believe we have actual footage of "Cartoon Network's Fridays", a variant from 2003 used around the time of Summer Fridays, between CCF and the Fridays block.
EDIT: And really, the biggest thing dropping interest in the Sonic 1 Tokyo Toy Show demo is that around two decades ago, it was confirmed by Sonic Team that they tried and failed to locate a copy of it. If even Sega themselves can't find it, it makes it almost feel like an impossible find.
We did, but only bits and pieces of Cartoon Network's Fridays have popped up, but not a full recording have surfaced online for now. Considering it only lasted for a month, airing from September 5 to September 26 of 2003, as a temporary block for the then-new Fridays block the following month, I can see why it's obscure enough to be missing in action. I even don't any recordings of Friday Night Premiere Thunder (later became Friday Night Premiere Lazer for Invaded in May), a block that lasted 2 months and was more or less a summer preview Friday night block, showcasing previews of what CN fans are waiting for in the summer. Fried Dynamite also fell through the "Keep Circulating the Tapes" trope. Full recordings of the block fell through the cracks over time and it's later months in 2008 are almost non-existent, outside of schedules and even a recording of a Flapjack episode during the block.
Disney's Gigantic. It was in production for awhile and Disney definitely had confidence in it early on. There is evidence of storyboard clips, which means there is probably a full storyboard out there. I do wonder how far they got into production. There has to be more concept art then what is shown. As well as models and test animation.
Most of the stuff we have on the film was from the D23 announcement in 2015. The film was in production for 2 years after that yet none of that has been seen by the public.
