Not so much... There's going to be a much higher quality upload of the channel's opening on YouTube before I even get the chance to rip a tape. This is sheer novelty.

I should be recording MeTV Toons right now, unfortunately my TV tuner won't find it after repeated attempts to rescan the channels. So I didn't catch the opening of the channel and don't know when I'll be able to see it.

EDIT2: It really doesn't seem like this is an issue on my end, my local affiliate dropped the ball somehow and it just plain isn't launching on time here. I've tried absolutely everything so there's no other explanation.

Ok my new plan is to “shaky iPhone record” the first airings of major shows such as Popeye,Woody Woodpecker,Tom and Jerry,Scooby Doo,The Jetsons, and The Flintstones.Would do Rocky and Bullwinckle but it may have to be silent because I don’t want to wake up others to get good audio quality so may be quiet or silent if I do do it,plus I want to get a good sleep tonight.
Will be posting my wishlist for future content on the channel later today.

I discovered that supposedly Philo is supposed to be getting MeTV Toons at some point though i'm not currently seeing it on there right now.
I still can't get it. What's really odd to me is that Laff is still running just fine, even though it ought to have been replaced in my area. Maybe my affiliate just forgor. 💀

Great because there don’t seem to be any premiere exclusive bumpers past that.Plus if I’m correct frndly has a feature that allows you to view content from the past 24 hrs so most things should be good.
At some point before 4:13PM CST, my local affiliate finally commenced the switchover from Laff to MeTV Toons. It could have happened anytime in the last couple hours as I haven't been super vigilant. Guess I'll be updating y'all later with some footage from the launch day...
On my box it still gives the channel as Laff but with indeterminate channel listings. I think that'll be fixed by a rescan but worth noting anyway. I didn't have to manually rescan this time to start seeing MeTV Toons was on the air.
EDIT: I did see something online about some affiliates switching over at 4PM so maybe it was part of that.
OK MeTV Toons is on Philo now so I was able to check the Real Ghostbusters episodes and alas it looks like they're airing the original undubbed versions of season 1 at least for now.
