What common thing from those early video reviewer types really annoyed you?

Mine is when they did those 11 f*ck ups videos where half the entires is defending themselves and the other half calling you a loser for caring about mistakes. I hated those video because it falsely framed them as humble. What annoying trope made you rub your temples in frustration from this era?

- Skits that went on a bit too long. Like an unfunny Family Guy cutaway gag

- Story plot woven into the episode that had nothing to do with what they are reviewing. I always ended up skipping those parts.

- Spending the whole video shitting on a movie then ending with "It's actually not bad, 4/5 stars."

- Mostly a Nostalgic Critic thing, the clickbait "Is [insert popular film] overrated?" but he spends the whole video saying "It's not overrated, why would people say that?" and defending why the film is the greatest thing ever made and how dare someone not like it. But like dude, you were the one who brought up the question "is it overrated?" but never really touch on why someone might dislike a popular film and why they are valid in feeling that way. Instead it feels like him arguing with a strawman.

An example for me is a 'gag' that they repeat over and over that I didn't find funny the first time. Like, the weird running gag with Mara Wilson and Channel Awesome cameos? And people thinking that was super funny for some reason?

Reviewing "just ok" movies where the video result is boring rather than funny or entertaining. This happened to nostalgia critic prior to Doug trying to retire the character and I got kinda sick of it.
