If you want to play that game offline. Here's another suggestion, you can use Internet Explorer (from Microsoft Edge) to play that game and you would need to use XAMPP (www.apachefriends.org/), if you want to play that game offline. And choose Apache server from XAMPP. And then go to C:/xammp/htdocs and put that game folder in that folder. And type in localhost and any games you want to type (http://localhost/anygames for example) in a browser, and it will work offline.
If not then, one thing to note is that some of the games have domain protection to prevent other sites from hosting the games. There's a way around this. You need to edit your systems HOSTS file. On any Windows, right click on Notepad and run it as Administrator. Then, open C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts (the selection box may default to .txt files, change it to all).
shockwave.com will now go your webserver/computer. You could use another domain so you're not overriding the normal one. Also, you want to do the same with other sites if it's one of their games. I'm not 100% sure if it works offline or not. I have not try it.
Note: If that game needs more files or some files are missing, you might want to use the tool called Fiddler (www.telerik.com/fiddler), and you just leave that game open while any game that accesses the internet is running. Fiddler tells you what URLs are being accessed by your computer. Fiddler is the great tool to do that. You might have to use Internet Explorer that supports Adobe Shockwave.
And you might want to find other Drift n burn games also. The suggestion you want to find the game copy was to find the link or at Web Archive from that page source, if that's the case, and the best bet. Or you can contact the game author if he has all Drift n burn games, just in case if still could not find it.
One last thing is I don't know if old versions of Adobe Flash and Shockwave work on newer operating systems. I haven't bothered trying since Flash itself is being downplayed these days since it's a bit of a security problem. And since the gradual death of Adobe Flash and Shockwave.
Also I have some shockwave online games called Starbase Defender, Arcadia (online version), Redline Rumble games, DJ Fu Wax Attack 1 and 2, BLiX, Delirium, Merlin's Quest, and Shockmachine games, but not all of them. For shockwave game Starbase Defender, I could not get that game to work offline. Also for the link for shockwave games that you added to the forum (hyperbacklink.com/site/shockwave.com/backlinks), the link did not work, you might want to fix that. If you decide to archive shockwave games, if would be great if everybody can archive shockwave games somewhere else. Let us know about it. Just giving you a suggestion. And this is my first time reply to you all for this forum.

Well, I believe I have already found the DCR's for all of the shockwave variants of the game. The problem is, the files just don't run.
Get in touch with Tomysshadow at 3D Groove Discord server discord.gg/VfJVFDX, and to comment him that. He might know to get those games working, than anybody else. I'm pretty sure he can try to get those games working.

I'm joining this. Quick tip, search for 'drift n burn filetype:swf' (without the apostrophes). That is your best chance.
Oh, I believe I've already found the trilogy of games made on shockwave - and they're all DCR files, not SWF, for future notice. The problem is that I just can't get them to run by themselves. If you could help with that, that'd be great. You need Adobe Director to edit DCR files. Also, thanks for the search function.

And if you find the fourth game, i'm not sure how easy it can be archived. That one runs on Unity, not Shockwave... so for the most part, it's likely not in danger of being deleted anyway, but it'd be a good idea to find a way to archive it anyways.
