Do you know of any way to get older compatability other than using a VM?
I know it works on Windows 10. What error are you getting? Did you extract the folder first?
yeah, I did. It just doesn't start at all. Nothing in task manager, nothing on screen. It displays a loading icon for much longer than many other programs have that don't start at all, though. Could you try running the files and getting back to me with the data?
Huh. For me these files give an "Macromedia Projector has stopped working" error, which should never ever happen. I don't know what could potentially be wrong with them, they definitely are the game files (DCR files are compressed and tend to be very small so I wouldn't be surprised if these are the full games) but I don't know why they cause a crashing issue.

I hope they aren't corrupted. I need to get a copy of Adobe Director so I can look at the raw files.

Managed to snag an Adobe Director copy (the program's been discontinued so it's hard to find) and it needs a plugin.
