Today at the school I work at I popped into a classroom and they were watching a video of graphic novel. The part I came in on had a girl, a boy and talking circus monkey walking down a boardwalk when they ran into a circus sea Lion. The boy called the sea lion a “seal” which enraged him and he slammed the kid through the boardwalk. He (along with the girl and the monkey) wound up on a buoy when they were being chased by the sea lion, an octopus, and a sea monster.
I came in the classroom later and saw that the characters were being chased by a yellow robot woman.
Needless to say, this seemed pretty interesting. Presumably this is a graphic novel that is from sometime in the past 15 years or so.
